From capital to capital


This trip will show You 3 different countries. During these 10 days You will get acquainted to Estonia, Russia and Finland as well! You will visit all three capitals, visit exciting museums and discover the most famous sights. Estonia will show You medieval Tallinn, the untouched nature of Lahemaa National park and the ancient boundary fortress in Narva. Russia offers You its two largest cities - Moscow and St. Petersburg which are so different, but both spectacular and rich in historical and cultural heritage. You'll see all the main sights and places of interests that everyone looks for there. At the end of the trip You'll see the third capital of these neighbouring countries - Helsinki.


Day 1
Arrival in Tallinn. Meeting at the airport with our English-speaking guide. Sightseeing tour around the city: medieval walls and towers of the Old Town, Kadriorg (Catherine's Palace), the Song Festivals Arena, a monument "Mermaid", the Tallinn port, Olympic center "Pirita", the television tower, National library and art gallery and so on. Lunch / Dinner. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2
Tallinn. Discovering the Old Town: fascinating narrow streets, walls and towers of medieval Tallinn ("Long Hermann" and "Thick Margarita"), viewing platforms, the Parliament Building, Aleksander Nevsky Cathedral, the Dome Church. Visiting of the Sacred Olav's or Sacred Nicolay's churches. Lunch. According to Your wish excursion to either the open-air ethnographical museum "Rocca-al-Mare" or the Art museum, situated in Kadriorg (Catherine's Palace).

Day 3
In the morning leaving Tallinn for Lahemaa National park (70 km to the East from Tallinn). You will enjoy the beauty of this oldest nature reserve in Estonia, visit ancient fishermen's settlements, Palmse or Sagadi mansions. Lunch. After lunch the way leads us to Narva. Excursion in the Narva fortress. Transfer to the railway station. Trip to Moscow by train.

Day 4
In the morning arrival in Moscow. Sightseeing tour around the city. Accommodation in the hotel. Lunch. Excursion on the Red Square and in the Kremlin, visiting the cathedrals situated on its territory. Leisure time: opportunity to visit the famous Moscow Circus.

Day 5
Visiting of the open-air architectural museum Kolomna. Lunch. Excursion to the State Tretyakov Gallery - the treasure-house of Russian fine art. Leisure time: opportunity to see a performance in Bolshoy Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Day 6
Excursion to Sergiyev Posad, visiting St. Serguey's monastery. Lunch. Leisure time in the Arbat street. Transfer to the railway station. Departure to St.Petersburg by train.

Day 7
Sightseeing tour around the central part of the city: Nevsky avenue, Peter and Paul fortress, Summer garden, legendary Aurora warship, Peter the Great monument, St. Basil's island. Lunch. Guided tour in the State Art museum Hermitage - one of the biggest art museums in the world. Leisure time: opportunity to have dinner in a restaurant with traditional Russian cuisine and a falk show.

Day 8
Half-day guided tour to one of the former imperial residences (Tsarskoye Selo, Pavlovsk or Peterhoff). You will see magnificent architecture of the imperial palaces and take a walk along paths of beautiful parks. Lunch. Excursion to the St. Isaac's Cathedral. Transfer to the port. Departure to Helsinki by ferry.

Day 9
Arrival in Helsinki. Short sightseeing tour in the city center: Market Square, Presidential palace, Senate square, National museum of Finland and so on. Leisure time for walking and shopping. Departure to Tallinn by the same ship. On arrival transfer to the hotel.

Day 10
Tallinn. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
